The Lodge is centrally located between New Melones Resevoir and Bear Valley Ski Area, an easy 25+/- mile drive . Calaveras Big Trees Park, Blue Lake Springs, White Pines Lake are within 1 to 2 miles of the Lodge .

Directions: From The Bay Area:

Take 580 East to 205 East to 120 East to 99 North to Highway 4 (Farmington Road) East. Continue through Angels Camp on Hwy 49, then resume Highway 4 East approximately 30 minutes to Arnold. Timberline Lodge is two miles into town on the left side of Hwy 4.

Directions: From Sacramento:

Take 99 South to Highway 4 (Farmington Road) East, continue through Angels Camp on Hwy 49, then resume Hwy 4 East approximately 30 minutes to Arnold.

Directions: From The Central Valley:

Take 99 North to Highway 4 (Farmington Road) East, continue through Angels Camp on Hwy 49, then resume Hwy 4 East approximately 30 minutes to Arnold.

Directions: From Lake Tahoe/Reno:

(Ebbetts Pass Closed in Winter Months) Take 80 West or 50 West or 88 West from the Tahoe Basin to 99 South to Highway 4 (Farmington Road) East, continue through Angels Camp on Hwy 49, then resume Hwy 4 East approximately 30 minutes to Arnold.

Directions: From Myers or Woodsford:

Take 88 West to Jackson, 49 South through San Andreas & Angels Camp, Highway 4 East approximately 30 minutes to Arnold.
